The bum test is our very unique, complimentary service, allowing you to view our chairs and bar stools models from the convenience of your home.
The bum test appointment is a fabulous part of your design journey; after sharing your vision with our design team, sampling luxury fabrics, viewing leg finishes, and considering extra touches - it is time to experience the comfort.
Ahead of your bum test appointment, your design advisor will discuss our chair models with you, to understand which shapes, sizes and styles are best suited for your home and family. We can then be sure that you can view your favourite models during the bum test which takes around 20 minutes
We cover the whole of mainland UK, booking most appointments within a two-week timescale, offering a date and time window when our driver can be with you. Mike, our friendly driver, has many years of service with The Chair People, he will visit whilst making deliveries in your postcode area, which is invaluable to us offering The bum test as a complimentary service, without charge.
We are aware of busy schedules and demanding diaries, so on the day of the bum test, you don’t need to worry about waiting at home; our driver will simply send a text when he is 1 hour away - that’s enough time to pop the kettle on too!
Your bum test appointment is the perfect way to view our models in the natural environment for which they are intended. So take a seat and experience the comfort & luxury, compare shapes and styles sizes against your current décor and find your favourite chair or bar stool model, which is right at home with your interior style.
As a direct response to Covid-19, we introduced a non-contact bum test service also. For customers not wishing to make close contact with our driver, chairs and bar stools will be placed outside your door for you to take inside. Our driver will return to his van and await your instruction to retrieve the items; this is usually a twenty-minute time window, allowing you to view and experience the products inside your home. All of our products are thoroughly disinfected before and after each appointment.
Following your bum test appointment, your design advisor will be in touch to hear your thoughts, provide you with the required information, quotes and confirm your choices. Then it’s time to sit back and wait for delivery day...
